World Soil Day

An annual observance that aims to raise awareness of the importance of healthy soil and sustainable soil management practices. Celebrated on December 5th, which coincides with the birthday of the late King Bhumibol of Thailand, a champion of soil conservation. Sustainable soil management practices, reduce erosion and pollution, and enhance water infiltration and storage.
